AIST Try-out Information

Anyone is welcome to attend an AIST tryout as long as they have a medical clearance to participate in High School athletics. In most cases, we travel with Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors for our select teams. Freshman are welcome to tryout, but should understand that only elite Freshman will be considered for the opportunity. Selected athletes are usually those who have been awarded an athletic accomplishment at the Varsity level. We are looking for athletes that plan to play at the college level. IMPORTANT:  There is a fee to tryout for the AIST select teams. This fee will be deducted from your tour cost if selected to join our team. The fee is to help cover Coach and facility costs to run the tryouts. Please understand, that if you are selected to an AIST team, you will be required to pay or fundraise for your portion of the tours expenses. Cost of our tours can range from $1995 – $4000 depending on the location and level of the event. An invitation link will be sent to you with all the details. Trying out for the team does not guarantee your place on the roster. If you have any questions please feel free to email jennifer@aist.us.

AIST Try-Out Form

Fill out the form below if you wish to attend an upcoming AIST Try-Out. We recruit top athletes all over the nation to represent the USA in international competition. You will be competing for a spot on the roster and positions are limited. These are not Try-Outs for the US National Team.

    We recruit several different sports. Please be descriptive in your answers.
  • Please list all positions that you are comfortable playing.
  • Please provide the location of the Tryout you would like to attend. If you do not know of any tryouts near you please let us know where you are located so we can let you know the closest event to you.

  • Parent or Gardian Information

    If you are under the age of 18 your legal guardian will need to sign the form below to consent to your attendance in an AIST Tryout.
    By checking the box you agree not to hold AIST responsible for any loss, damage or personal injury during or at the AIST try-outs. The participant is recognized as "I" below: I recognize that because of the potential hazardous nature of this activity that an injury might be sustained. In the event of such an injury to myself, if I or my family members cannot be contacted, I give my permission to the attending physician to render such treatment as would be normal and agree to pay the usual charges for such treatment. I now release American International Sports Teams Inc., its employees, volunteers, agents, and assigns from responsibility for any personal injuries to property caused by or having any relation to this activity. I understand that this release applies to any present or future injuries and that it binds my heirs, executors and administrators. I understand that participants may be videotaped or photographed during this activity. I have read this release and understand all of its terms. I sign voluntarily and with full knowledge of its significance.
    By checking this box you understand that all payments received for AIST tryouts are non-refundable once received.
    By checking this box I agree and confirm that I understand the following about AIST Tryouts: 1. IF I make the team, I understand I have no obligation to accept the position on the roster. 2. I will have my choice of destination as long as there is a position available on the destination I select. (AIST will confirm your position prior to your deposit being due) 4. I understand that I may not be selected to an AIST team even after attending the tryout.

  1. My daughter is very interested in tryouts but we are not sure where the closest one to us will be and when, we are located in Poplarville, MS 39470

  2. We have a page on our website that shows the active tryouts. If there is not one near you, you can tryout by filling out a player profile online. We do a lot of recruiting nationwide and are not always able to work athletes out in person. We do phone interviews and check references to find athletes as well. You can fill out the player profile at http://www.aist.us/player-profile.

  3. how much is the fee to try out? and where exactly on your website does it ahow where the tryouts are held?

  4. The fee for tryouts depends on the location and team you are trying out for. Usually it’s between $50-$100. We only have a few locations set up for tryouts every year. You can find the tryouts that are available on the Try-Out link at the top of our home page. You are always welcome to fill out our player profile form to be considered for one of our teams without having to tryout. Logistically its not always possible to get to a tryout so we do an online interview for possible candidates.
